Shared Ownership Information
The Kimball is set up on a Shared Ownership basis, which means that you simply purchase the amount of time you wish to use each year. Therefore, at The Kimball, you pay for only what you use.

Unlike most Timeshare projects where you must use the same week year after year, The Kimball offers Flexible or Floating Time. This allows you, the owner, to schedule your week however you want. Whether it is two days here or five days there, how you use your time is up to you. |
Your ownership at The Kimball is a true real estate ownership, not just lifetime ownership, but Ownership in Perpetuity. You can pass it on to your children, grandchildren or whomever. In this fee simple real estate ownership you actually receive a deed and title to your property.
Scheduling your time is easy. The Kimball has a reservations staff ready to assist you Monday through Sunday, 7:30 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. Mountain Time. |

You may reserve your week or portion of your week as far as 54-weeks in advance, up until 24-hours before your desired stay date. However, all reservations are made based on availability. There may be times when you don't have an opportunity to plan a trip to Salt Lake City in advance.
Bonus Time was designed with those times in mind. Through bonus time, you can pick up an unlimited amount of time for yourself on a space availability basis, without it counting against your regular time. Bonus time can be booked anytime within 21 days of the time you want to use it.

You may use any size unit that is available under bonus time by paying a Nightly Bonus Time Fee of $55 for a studio unit, $65 for a one-bedroom, $70 for a bedroom Suite, and $75 for a two-bedroom unit. |
Once you have purchased your week(s) of ownership at The Kimball, all you pay is your maintenance fee, which includes property taxes, insurance, maid service, utilities, etc. The year 2008 maintenance fee schedule is as follows: $264 for a studio unit, $317 for a one-bedroom, $360 for a suite and $418 for a two-bedroom. |

Another major attraction of owning at The Kimball is the ability to trade or exchange your week for a vacation week at one of the thousands of resorts around the world, should you choose to join a world wide exchange program.
| The Kimball is affiliated with the largest exchange company in the world. Through Resorts Condominium International (RCI), you pay a nominal exchange fee of $164.00 and trade your week for a more exotic location in the United States or exchange internationally for $199.00. You can also exchange through the Kimball's own management company Vacation Resorts International (VRI), that Exchange fee is only $74. For more info click here. |
